Can you believe it? Spring is here – in Toronto!
The sun is out, the birds are singing and the little kids that ran around in the neighbourhood this weekend were wearing their super man T-shirt and shorts!
Sunbeam puts big smiles on people’s face. Smiles was certainly the accessory that I wear a lot in the past week. In addition to the sun and warmth, there were are a few small things that helped me to get into the good mood:
– Friends. There are some people in life that make you laugh a bit louder, smile a little louder and live just a little bit better. They are called good friends. In the past few days, managed to get together with some girlfriends that I haven’t seen for quite a while. It’s so good to get caught up with life, and it’s so great to see they are all thriving in their own way, beautifully and gracefully.
– Books. I’m a bookworm. I read everything, newspapers, magazines, business books, biographies, self-help books, etc.. There are two books that I liked very much and finished quite quickly last week.
– Don’t judge us, but the hubby and I were quite excited about a new finding this weekend – a new grocery store in the Junction area in Toronto. It’s a local neighbourhood store called the Sweet Potato, which is specialized in promoting local, organic and natural foods. It’s a cute and neat store that not only has a bold orange colour 🍊 branding, but also has lots of charms and of course great local produce.
– oh, yes, we finally welcomed the first batch of flowers in our garden. They are small but mighty, bright and brave, full of hope.
Life is made of small moments. Sometimes they are happy; sometimes they are sad. Good or bad they are all real.
Cherish them all and let them leave a mark in your heart as life goes by.
Have a wonderful week everyone!
